Already 15 points in the dust measurement network!

During the fall, the KIP dust measurement network in the Kokkola heavy industry area expanded with two new measurement points. One monitors dust emissions from the industrial area towards the sea, and the other is located on the mainland side of the area. Both stations use Sensirion's small laser-based device and Decentlab's commercial meter as measuring instruments. Wind data is also monitored at the same stations to determine the direction of dust dispersion.

KIP's dust measurement network now covers a total of 15 measuring points, all of which are equipped with a Sensirion dust sensor and eight Decentlab dust measurement devices.
