An article based on the master's thesis of Eeli Mäkinen, a research assistant in the Data-Driven Efficiency, Productivity and Competitiveness project, has advanced to the publication stage. The research, written in collaboration with Mäkinen and university lecturer Jukka Vuorinen, discusses new cybersecurity threats targeting artificial intelligence agents and examines social manipulation targeting machines in particular.
The research has been peer-reviewed with excellent feedback. The article has now been finalized based on minor improvement suggestions and sent for final evaluation to the international ECCWS conference (The European Conference on Cyber Warfare and Security). With final approval, the results will be presented at the University of Nottingham in late June, after which a more detailed news release about the article will be published.
