Digita's LoRaWAN network to the university center

Digita and the University of Jyväskylä have signed a co-operation agreement that opens the University Center to use the LoRaWAN network maintained by Digita. Now, actors and students in the region have a great opportunity to develop new IoT applications based on LoRa technology. It is easy to develop applications that are long-lasting and can run up to 10 years with minimal maintenance costs.

LoRA technology is one of the Low-Power Wide-Area Network (LPWAN) technologies designed to implement long-range wireless connections at low speeds (0.3kb / s to 50kbps). LoRA technology allows the sensor to operate over a long battery life.
