New video conferencing service in use

The videoconferencing service behind the Videochat feature in the CiNetCampus environment has been switched to Zoom. The new service has considerably better support for different platforms. The Videochat can now be used on Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems. In addition, iOS and Android devices are supported.

The application is already in use in connection with MSc in Information Technology for all online guidance. Live lectures will also be implemented with this software in future. However, in the transition phase, live lectures can be still watched using streaming video technology. The application has no effect on watching ondemand video lectures.
