Tailoring the Master’s Programme in IT for the Central Ostrobothnia Region

The project aims to prepare for the launch of a Master’s Programme in Technology (DI) in the Central Ostrobothnia region. Establishing a new programme represents a significant investment from the university, as universities do not typically take regional specificities into account in their core operations. The project therefore focuses on designing the planned MSc programme to meet the needs of local industries, strengthen regional competitiveness, and improve the availability of skilled workforce. Another objective is to demonstrate to the university the region’s and its business sector’s interest in expanding university-level education.
