What is IoT and how to make use of it? Presentation for regional entrepreneurs 8.6.

Kokkola Univerisity Consortium Chydenius and the Federation of Finnish Enterprises organized a joint event 8.6.2017, which was targeted to regional enterprises. Aim was to showcase how the University operates in the region in co-operation with enterprises from diverse verticals in the area.

Ilkka Kivelä from the faculty of Information Technology gave a presentation about the LIoT project and the possibilities of IoT and Industrial Internet. He also described several business cases which have been implemented in the LIoT project. Enterprises are starting to adopt principles of IoT succesfully with the help of the project.

There were also presentations about the co-operation between University Consortium and Federation of Finnish Enterprises. Also other projects from the Business Studies and Applied Chemistry units, and how they co-operate with regional enterprises, were presented.
