IoT sensor devices in data-driven process optimization

IoT sensor devices can be utilized in the process to collect data. By exporting the collected data to various backend systems, bottlenecks and other problems related to the current state of the process can be detected. Process simulation means that current state data is used to model and analyze the process operation virtually. This allows bottlenecks to be addressed and more efficient solutions, such as new process lines or improvements to existing systems, can be designed using process simulation tools.
