A Digital Innovation Hub (DIH) is a tool developed and coordinated by the European Commission to accelerate the uptake of digital solutions in European companies. DIHs are primarily regionally oriented, with a particular focus on micro and small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Their ultimate goal is to support a digital productivity leap among companies in the EU and thereby contribute to overall well-being. Work is carried out locally in the immediate business environment, which is why the DIH network is inherently decentralised and tailored to the specific needs of each region. The aim is to lower the threshold for adopting new digital solutions, provide services for product development and testing of new solutions, and support business development in an increasingly digital operating environment.

The LUMA Network inspires and encourages children and young people to study and engage with STEM subjects through the latest innovations in science and technology education. The network consists of 13 regional LUMA Centres coordinated by Finnish universities of science and technology.
