The second stakeholder meeting on the progress of the Takomo project was held. The event, entitled AamukaffIT: KIP's digital environmental measurement network is being built, presented the results of stakeholder interviews and environmental measurement point plans for the Kokkola University Consortium Chydenius IT unit's environmental project.
The event presented noise, weather, and groundwater measurement networks based on interviews with operators in the Kokkola Industrial Park, as well as individual measurement points for gases, among other things. The plan for the measurement point networks was approved by stakeholder representatives, and no changes were proposed. The participants were interested in the data produced by the measurements and hoped that it would be made available quickly once the measurements began. The projects were seen as an opportunity to communicate the willingness of organizations in the KIP area to participate in environmental measurements organized by an impartial body.
AamukaffIT was once again a successful event, where we were able to collaborate on developing digital environmental measurements!
